Pre-Authorized Tax Payment
The Township offers a Pre-Authorized Tax Plan as a option to pay your property taxes.

Before returning the form you must contact the Tax Department to confirm the monthly payment amount.

Some Highlights Regarding the Plan...
- To be eligible your Tax Account must be up to date (no arrears).
- The current assessment is multiplied by the previous year's tax rate, until the current tax rate is set (less any payments that have been made) and divided into 11 equal payments. (January to November)
- Mid year (when the new budget is established) your payment is re-calculated to reflect any changes and you will be notified of any difference in payment. This revised payment will then remain in effect until the middle of the following year.
- To be eligible, this form must be received by the tax office no later than the first day of the month in which you are applying and all taxes must be paid to date at that time. You must contact the Tax Collector prior to sending the form to confirm the monthly payment amount.
- Complete and sign the enrolment/authorization below (if a joint bank account, both parties must sign the form)
- Attach your personal blank cheque marked "VOID"
- Mail or deliver the signed form and void cheque to the Township office.
Payments are posted on the 15th day of each month for the monthly plan or on the instalment due date if you chose the instalment plan.
