Smith-Ennismore-Lakefield Fire Department Private & Unassumed Roads
The Fire Department would like to remind all homeowners to make sure that access to your property is clearly accessible in order that the Fire Dept's apparatus can get to your property in a timely matter with no obstructions in case of an emergency. All driveways and roads (private & unassumed) have to be pot hole free, trees and bush foliage trimmed back. Trees not properly trimmed back could cause costly damage to the lighting systems on the emergency vehicles.
