Council
The Council for the Township of Smith-Ennismore-Lakefield is comprised of the Reeve, Deputy Reeve, and three Councillors who represent the wards of Smith, Ennismore, and Lakefield. The Reeve and Deputy Reeve also serve on the upper tier County of Peterborough Council.
Council meetings are open to the public. Anyone wishing to make a presentation to Council may do so by providing the Clerk with a request in writing not less than 6 days prior to the Council meeting. The written notice must contain a clear statement of what issue or matters are to be dealt with at Council and signed by the author.

Municipal Committees
The Township would like to thank all community members that have applied for a 2010-2014 Board or Committee appointment. The Township is no longer accepting applications for the 2010-2014 term. Appointments typically run for the same four year term as Council. The next term will being after the 2014 Elections.
